Acrylic Color Chart

Finished my color chart. I limited the colors or I would still be working on it. You can make it with many colors or just a few. I think I will also make a chart of primaries with different blues, reds and yellows.

Color Chart

Talked to a fellow artist last night and we talked about color charts. Made a great color chart for oils years ago and still have it. Now that I'm painting with Acrylics I decided to make a new color chart for them. They take some time to make but they are so helpful. (Ex. trying to find a good green to paint sage brush. Just have to look at your color chart to see what blue and yellow you need)
Will post photos once it is finished.

Hope for a new workshop

My friend Maria told me that we have a new artist moving to our area. She will rent from another friend of ours. We are hoping she will give a workshop once she settles in. Her work is lovely. I'm switching to acrylic and she is an oil painter, of course. Maybe tomorrow I can get more information since I'm hoping to see our friend that is renting to the artist tomorrow. I will post more once I learn more.

Acrylic and Mediums

Will continue to paint with acrylics and watercolors. Was going to go back to oil paint but the drying time drives me crazy. So going to work with acrylics and mediums. I've work some with the gel medium and going to experiment more with it. If anyone has worked with it with their acrylic paints please feel free to share.
I work with acrylic in more of an oil paint style. The gel extends the drying time and I always paint with a water spray bottle handy to spray my canvas from time to time and onto my paints.
